Synopsis

Chidori High and the elite all-girls Kikyo Academy sit side by side but couldn’t be more different—one known for delinquents, the other for prestige and wealth. Sixteen-year-old Rintarou Tsumugi of Chidori is feared for his scary face, though he’s actually gentle and secretly helps at his family’s cake shop. One day, a girl flees the shop before he can speak to her, but she later returns to apologize. She’s Kaoruko Waguri, cheerful and sincere—and a Kikyo student.
